  • Bear Grylls real name is EDWARD  MICHAEL GRYLLS
  • he born on 7th june 1974  and his birth place is donaghadee, northern Ireland.
  • his father name is Michael Grylls.
  • his mother name is Sarah Grylls.
  • He was raised up to the age of four in donaghadee then His family moved to Bembridge. 


2. About his parents 
  • The father was a politician and his mother's family was also associated with politics.
  • Lara Fawcett is also the elder sister of Bear Grylls and she is a tennis coach.
  • Bear Grylls was named Bear by his sister when he was just a week old.
  • Bear Grylls had a passion for adventure from an early age when his father taught him to climb high and sail. His father also loved exploring nature and roaming around in the forest.

  • He attended Ludgrove School and proved to be a good student as well.
  • Being a teenager, Bear Grylls learned to do skydive and fulfill his dream of jumping from bushes.
  • He also started learning karate to become powerful and great. He also got a black belt in karate.
  • After finishing school, he attended Eton College and graduated in Hispanic Studies.
  • Then from 1949 to 1949 he served in the British Army.
  • he had studied spanish and german at the university of the west of england, bristol and at Birkbeck college.


5. About his life risk  
  • In 1979, he went to South Africa for a scadiway, he jumped from a height but his parachute did not open and he was badly injured.
  • In 1998, He fulfilled his childhood dream, which at the age of thirteen, he reached the top of Mount Everest. 
  • In 2003, Bayer Grylls crossed the North Atlantic.
  • Bayer Grylls dined 7.5 km above the earth and traveled to Atlantica
  • After that he came to India and went to Himalayan mountains of Sikkim and West Bengal for trekking. At that time he was strongly influenced by the Indian Army and expressed his desire to join the Indian Army, but his dream was incomplete when he was refused admission to the army due to not being an Indian citizen.
