    Types of lines 

Elements mean ingredients or factors that are mainly used or important to use in designing. It is first assignments of every portfolio in fashion designing which includes lines, shape, form, color and texture.

For some examples we will show you some pictures to understand about fabric, design, draping, etc. 


 Horizontal lines
      The Horizontal lines used to give broadness or shape to the body, So, that person healthier.
It also uses for on tops, pants, skirts, etc.. 
 The most of healthier people avoid using or dressing of horizontal lines garments.

Fabric 

A horizontal line is flat or level.
lines can be printed, embroidered, etc in a sleeping position.
Design
 

design can be curvy, spiral, etc but it can only design in horizontal. 
Draping
 
A Horizontal line can also be shown in draping.
it can be done by gathering fabric, pleating, etc.

Vertical line 
  A Vertical line means straight lines which used to give length to the body.
So, that can create the illusion of Length than the actual length of the body.
 Vertical line or design created on garments it's mostly used for short people.
Fabric 
     A vertical line is straight it can be printed, embroidered, etc
Design
       Design can be done in lacing, spiral, etc only in a straight manner. 
Draping
 A Vertical line can be shown in fabric.
it can be done by gathering fabric, pleating, etc.
Diagonal lines
A Diagonal line is the complicated elements of fashion designing. a diagonal line used in narrow area like rip cage, shoulder, waist, etc.
It has more vertical length line in a diagonal line.

Fabric
A diagonal line is drawn in slanting direction.
it can be printed, embroidered, etc.

Design
 A Diagonal Design can be printed, embroidered, 
knitting, etc
Draping
draping can be gathered, pleated, etc

Dotted lines
A Diagonal lines are made up of dots or dashes. they can be drawn horizontally, vertically, diagonal, spiral, etc according to design.
Fabric

The Dotted line can be printed, embroidered, etc.
Design
     The dotted line can be shown in a horizontal, vertical, diagonal, etc direction
  Spiral line/ curve line
  A spiral line is a never-ending line or movement.
        in fashion it used in designing, draping of a garment.

Fabric
  fabric can be printed, DIY, drape, etc.
Design
  design can be with the focal point  
     and lead the eyes towards it.
Draping
   
    A draping of spiral design on fabric easy just you need
        to focus on cutting and stitching.

Monochromatic colors: Monochromatic color are the color of a single hue. If the color is made darker by adding black color to the pure hues than it is called has a shades.  If the color is made lighter by adding white color to a pure hue than it is called has a tint. If grey is added to a pure hue than it is called has tone.  this tints, tones and shades are helpful in learning about colors in fashion industry               Achromatic color-  The achromatic color is an only neutral color. this neutral color is black, white, and grey.  it has lightness but no hue or saturation. it does not appear on the color wheel. achromatic color to which a small amount of hue has been added.
